About LHF

The Lutheran Heritage Foundation is a non-profit mission organization actively involved in making confessional Lutheran materials available in the languages of the people around the world.

Working with hundreds of translators, reviewers and editors, we provide the resources vital to the growth of the church.

The Lutheran Heritage Foundation produces books in 86 languages which are used in 72 countries including the United States, as we partner with Lutheran church bodies to meet the needs of the people.

The Lutheran church has a rich heritage of writings from the Reformers to modern day authors. This is the foundation for the work of the Lutheran Heritage Foundation. We primarily fund translation projects for Lutheran church bodies but also support some original Lutheran works written in foreign languages.
