Field Reports Rev. James May is called to the Lutheran Heritage Foundation to assist the Rev. Dr. Anssi Simojoki in overseeing LHF activities throughout Africa. Centered in Nairobi, Kenya, Rev. May is learning Swahili to help translate and introduce Lutheran books for people in East Africa.

| mission spotlight: SOMALIA In Somalia, faith in Jesus Christ is not tolerated. "Somalis are probably the world's most hostile people to the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior," said Mohamed Gurhan, LHF translator for Somalia. Because of the danger printed materials pose, LHF has had to get creative in its approach to distributing Lutheran books in Somalia. Click here to read more...
