Very few people would be qualified to answer an ad like this one. But when LHF staff members Rev. James Fandrey and Rev. Ted NaThalang recently traveled to Southeast Asia, they were reminded that when God has a plan, anything is possible.

The Lutheran Heritage Foundation regrets to announce that Rev. James May has resigned from his call as translation project coordinator for Africa, effective Mar. 31, 2010.
Rev. May has served LHF for the past 18 months. He leaves now to pursue other missionary opportunities in Africa.
Rev. James Fandrey, LHF executive director said that he and the LHF Board of Directors will be looking carefully at several options for continuing LHF’s presence in Kenya in the coming months.
In the meantime, LHF translators and project coordinators in Kenya and other African countries (such as Sudan, Tanzania, South Africa, Nigeria, Madagascar and Ethiopia) will continue overseeing LHF projects in those areas. In the coming months, Lutheran leaders in Kenya are eagerly anticipating LHF’s publication of the Gusii (Kisii) hymnal and the Swahili Book of Concord.
| hELP LHF REACH ITS GOAL
Help LHF reach its goal of $7,000 for the LHF mission - AT NO COST TO YOU.
GoodSearch is an Internet search engine. Every time you use it, with LHF designated as your charity, LHF gets a penny. And those pennies add up! If 650 people would use Goodsearch as their search engine three times per day, their combined efforts would raise $7,000 for the LHF this year!
Click here to go to the GoodSearch page. Type Lutheran Heritage Foundation in the "Who do you GoodSearch for?" box, and help us start reaching our goal today! LHF speakers will come to your church, free of charge, to tell how new Lutherans are embracing sound doctrine and begging for more materials to be translated into their languages. They will also explain how your congregation can play a part in this important mission.
