On average, LHF prints 20,000 books per month at a cost of about $5/book. When you give just $10 per month as a member of LHF’s Book a Month club, LHF will send you an update on what book you helped us print that month, and where the books you’ve sponsored will go.

WHO IS IN THE BOOK A MONTH CLUB?

Members of the “Book a Month” club are individuals, businesses or organizations who have chosen to move forward in faith, regularly sending mission gifts to the Lutheran Heritage Foundation on a monthly basis. The amount of the gift is determined by the donor.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF JOINING THE BOOK A MONTH CLUB?

For the donor, joining LHF’s Book a Month club eliminates the hassle of remembering to write checks or make online donations. In addition, many members find it easier to budget a smaller gift each month than one-time larger gifts. For example, many choose to give $10 per month rather than a single, one-time gift of $120.

For LHF, recurring gifts support the need for a steady, reliable source of income. Then it’s never a question whether LHF can commit to long-term translation projects or answer unexpected but deserving requests for books that help spread the Gospel.

HOW DOES BEING A MEMBER OF THE BOOK A MONTH CLUB WORK?

As a member of the Book a Month club, you can set whatever monthly amount you wish to send to the LHF mission. You can also decide whether you’d like the gift securely charged to your credit, or automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. You can cancel or change the amount of your monthly donation at any time.

To enroll as a Faithful Steward, either:

  1. Click here to make your first online donation. Under the “Recurring Gift” headline, simply click the box to “make this a monthly gift.” Then select which day of the month you’d like your gift to be made. That’s all there is to it! You’ll be automatically registered as a member of the club.
  2. Print a hard copy of this PDF and fill out the Book a Month enrollment form. Then mail the completed form to LHF at 51474 Romeo Plank Rd., Macomb MI 48042. Done!
