The Lutheran Heritage Foundation, a recognized service organization of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, is looking to fill an immediate opening for a Database Administrator at our World Mission Center located in Macomb, MI. This is a 28-40 hour a week position depending upon candidate qualifications and prior work experience.
This individual will be responsible for maintaining LHF’s Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge database, including gift entry, keeping a clean database, generating reports and helping train and problem-solve for other LHF employees who use the database internally and in the field.
We’re looking for candidates preferably with Raiser’s Edge certification in both the database view and NXT platforms or someone adept at quickly learning new software programs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) programs is also vital. The individual will need to able to interpret and implement LHF’s goals and objectives within the database, work independently and cooperatively with staff, volunteers, donors, congregations, and the public, and be skilled in seeking solutions online or with chat support to resolve issues. A strong background in communication, organization, and prioritization skills will be necessary for success within the position.
