Every year, we have new Japanese students enrolled at our school, St. Paul Lutheran School, in McAllen, TX. The families come to McAllen because the fathers take 3-5 year contracts in engineering or manufacturing at the plants in Reynosa, Mex. The Japanese Supplementary School uses our building on Saturdays for all the children in the area. Most of these kids come to us with no knowledge of Christ and certainly no idea about Lutheranism. We’ve requested copies in the past and have run out.
