In 2014, the women of the LWML Kansas District voted at its convention to adopt the Lutheran Heritage Foundation’s (LHF) mission project, providing good Lutheran books to French-speaking people in Africa, Haiti and France. In these places, the books you’ve helped LHF to translate into the French language are being read in Lutheran seminaries and churches.
God’s Yes and God’s No is a summary of Walther’s book Law and Gospel, which contains 39 of his lectures delivered in the late 1800s. It teaches pastors how to divide Law and Gospel when preaching and teaching in the church. Additionally, it makes clear the dangers of incorrectly emphasizing one part of Scripture over the other. You can see why this is such an important book in training new Lutheran pastors and in helping the people in the pews to recognize good Lutheran preaching and teaching!
Thank you for your help in publishing this indispensable tool. The Holy Spirit is working powerfully through your gifts, and Lutheran churches in West Africa and Haiti are growing in the faith. You’re helping to provide the very best spiritual care for your Lutheran brothers and sisters, thousands of miles away.
God’s blessings to you as you continue to do His work here in the United States and around the world.
